The current clutch reservoir hoses being sold by most vendors are NOS, and tend to visibly sweat after relatively a short period of time. DPI has recently begun selling a transparent replacement hose made from Tygon to finally resolve this issue.

I'm running a piece of transmission cooler hose with good results.
Do not use fuel line hose.

As far as hoses go, the better materially designed for the chemicals and pressure contained within it, the better hose you'll have!

I did drive 1000 miles with the Tygon hose from DPI. Just wanted to add that datapoint.![]()
Hmm, I've never looked at the clutch reservoir hose, the only thing that I notice is sweaty after driving my car is me.![]()

Dont worry Lou. I had my car 10 yrs and just got AC last month.
I did Bill's mineral spirits flush and then I was getting totally high because the fumes were coming into the car. Evaporator leak. So I replaced the evaporator, and the condensor was leaking when I charged it,(could hear it leaking in the front), so I changed that too ( and a new houston radiator at the same time) along with the accumulator/dryer. Orifice tube was a breeze and many said it was a PITA. Haven't charged it yet because Tom and I replaced the condenser over the winter and he didnt want to charge it till spring. Man I hope it works. Now I just have to find my resistor grid I ordered from houston( or just buy another one) ( i think my 85 fiero uses the same part, although I cant find it on rock auto)
Oh the last week of summer I'm go a be going to Delaware and I have to take a separate car so I can leave early because teachers have to report in one day before Labor Day. I'm thinking of taking Boo. Maybe we could meet up somewhere? Or am I way off with the proxity of states?

Sure thing Lou, but Delaware is still a little ways from here. Come visit when Bill comes up.
