Concours cars are the pinnacle of DeLorean ownership. As you can easily drive on the stock NCTs, belts, coolant hoses, clutch fluid, etc without any worry on a true concours car (those who call their car concours without even having the NCTs are simply deluding themselves), there's never any reason to take one all apart

Point of order: it is perfectly acceptable to hate Bill Robertson.

I see a new idea for the bathroom urinal at DCS 2016.
Rest assured, we have a backup of Farrar's car blog and it will be restored in the near future. (Steve Rice - March 2016)

I'm thinking that one would deserve the toilet treatment, or at least something more extreme than a mere urinal...

Does this mean Michael is about to start brown nosing Lou?

I think Lou and Michael are "Mr. and Mrs. Smith"'ing each other. It's all insults and trolling until someone steals a kiss.

If you're going to insult James Espey, you should at least spell his name correctly.

For what it's worth, I haven't dealt with DMCH much, but several years ago when I called them up a few times I ended up speaking to a guy called Warren. Warren treated me like I was wasting his time asking questions about problems. When I was trying to figure out which parts to order, Warren acted like if I wasn't willing to throw money at a bunch of parts all at once instead of trying to troubleshoot things one by one then I should just not bother and leave him alone. It put a bad taste in my mouth and I didn't call Houston for a while. Then I told people about my experiences and they all basically said "That's impossible. Warren is a great guy, really nice and helpful, and he takes the time to help people with their problems over the phone just like in person." Eventually, I called back and James Espey picked up the phone. He treated me much better than Warren did. James helped me find some parts used instead of NOS since I was on a budget. He helped me find some front Eibach springs even when they were only available as a set with the rears at the time. He was not prejudiced against my car because of its fuel-delivery system. He even said that the cross-reference I found for the blower motor connector was a nice find.

It looks like I am in the minority, but I accept Houston for what it is, warts and all.
    DeLorean status: awaiting engine replacement.
