    water Y-pipe plugs

    Hello,

in my engine I don't use anymore the sensors present in the water Y pipe #102147 so I was thinking about removing them and mounting new sealing plugs with washers. do you know what size of plugs will fit?
I should do the same replacing the thermotime switch also...

    Best regards

I'll look at #2508's Y pipe when I get back. I seem to remember tapping some of the ports NPT.

Have you got the chance to take a look at your Y pipe?

If the sensors aren't leaking any, and if you're not using them as sensors, then wouldn't they qualify as being a plug?

One of my motto's is 'why make more work for yourself than you need to?' Another is 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it,' but I'm admittedly the eccentric oddball of the group here

Bill sucks -- takes him forever just to take a couple of pictures:

I am pretty sure some of those were retapped from an obscure metric thread.

Bill is da man - where else do you get that kind of visualization/detail?

Bill will take pix of whatever part you want...to the point of tearing apart his car to do so. Ask him some time for a picture of a cylinder sleeve.

Cylinder sleeve is too easy - I would like to see what the crank looks like

Josh wants to see Bill's crank.

I'm looking for info on the Y-pipe O-rings....are they anything special, or can I use something sourced locally? I'd usually add something like that to an order, but I'm going to need them sooner than the next time I place an order.
