I need to find a decent 5-speed pedal box and shifter assembly.

Why was it parted out? Not accident damage, obviously.

Pedal box went with the tub, as they're bonded to the fiberglass with adhesive, and the owner didn't want to bother with attempting to remove anything that was bonded out of fear of potentially wrecking the fiberglass. The shifter assembly were missing from the car for a long time (at least two POs anyway).

I'll keep my eyes and ears open for you and let you know if I happen across anything

When the PO purchased the car, it was essentially a shell - no interior other than the steering column and wheel and no powertrain or associated components. The frame was also in pretty poor shape, with epoxy cracks and flaking and loads of surface rust, but was otherwise solid. The PPO used the shell as a demonstration/display piece for selling digital caliper gauges at trade shows and the like. The PO purchased the car with the intention of restoring it with his son, who never took an interest in it, unfortunately. When the PO assessed things a little closer and realized how much it would have taken to make it a reliable driver, he decided that a better course of action for him was to get rid of it. He attempted to sell the shell as a whole, but was jerked around by potential buyers to the point that he thought it'd be easier, and more profitable, to just part it out. As to when and why the interior and powertrain were removed from the car - that remains a mystery.
