Beef stew. Not bad for a 14 year old MRE.

As long as there aren't actual 14 year olds.

But why eat all the long term food first? Are you out of boxed and canned food already?

Got tired of eating the canned food. MREs are much tastier.

Iíll probably get tired of MREs and switch back to canned goods in a day or so.

Still got a few things left I can bake too.

Canít remember how old the beans and corn are but the canned salmon expired in 2013. Pretty tasty stuff.

I've got half a cow worth of frozen beef in my freezer so I'm eating like a king. Burger King.

Nice. Iím tempted to buy a deep freezer and call up a local butcher but Iím sure they are out of meat at this point.

Yeah, I can't pretend that I was actually planning or prepping for anything. My brother in law raises a couple of steer every year and this fall around harvesting time we split one of the ripe ones with mother and father in law.

Mostly just ground beef left at this point, but we got some really nice steaks out of it too. We opted to grind up most of the roasts this time since last time we got beef a couple of years ago they just sat there. A guy can only make so many pot roasts.

Perhaps there's an underground bunker here to hide out in.
