Model Car Recommendations - Opinions Requested

I'm looking at a pair of model cars; the wife got me an eBay gift card and, since I can't use it to buy silver, I'm trying to decide between these model cars:

This one I would want to improve the quality and attention to detail of; but I doubt I have the skill:

This one, at minimum, I would like to repaint the green section red as well as improve the quality of; with it, it seems more manageable:

This one I can live with the color scheme of; but, call me weird in that I prefer the 4-door:

    Which should I purchase?

Take a look at the Monogram kits, metal body too. Sure you have to build them but much more rewarding.

Aesthetically, I like the last one. I really like the pre-war (20s and 30s) cars. Just last week a friend of a friend showed me his warehouse of cars. One of them he pulled the cover off was this 1922 Cadillac. Yes... the same one used the the I love Lucy episode.

But the one that blew me away was the red and maroon 1929 Packard. It can be seen on his website:

Wow it was stunning in that color combination. Apparently it took best of show at this year's Lake Mirror Concours.

Sorry, I digress... I could talk cars all day. I used to put together models as well. I really enjoyed that as it was very relaxing for me. I'll have to carve out time to do that again.

Michael, I think I saw the Delorean model that you added lights to. That was amazing. How are the metal models to work with?

I'm having a Dickens of a time finding a metal Rolls Royce, Packard, or Duesenberg.

I found a Monogram and a Hubley kit to try; if anyone is interested, results will be posted.

Posts relating to my ridiculously stupid idea of building my own car have been moved to a new location so that those interested in seeing an investment that is about as secure as bitcoin can see it.

Painting the Hubley kit; leaving the Monogram one for later.
