Drac, I think Dave might have been on to something...you say it was "misting", but it should squirt a solid stream(s), throughout the stroke. Otherwise it will go lean and bog. At times, it sounded like it was going lean to me, but hard for me to tell in the vid.
Thinking along that line, I noticed that your choke was open and that the temp gauge was not up...was it cold?

Still not right. I threw a different carb on the car and, while it helped a little, the two stacks in the center still fill with gas and flood the thing. At this point, I need a set of outside eyes to tell me what's wrong with it.

I had the issue of the carb bogging down when giving gas and it was actually lean drop from it having the "power valve" or what Bill calls the "full throttle enrichment " valve in . Once I installed the valve it ran fine. Maybe your valve is bad ?

What confounds me most is that the intake and manifold worked on Steve's car.
Tonight, I'm going to try a compression test on all the cylinders and see from there.
