So Rich is a real person. I suspected he was a very smart bot.

It was a great time, I'm really psyched to have another owner close enough for frequent meets.

Jimmy really raised the bar for restorations:

-He bought 2706 as a 20-year barn find in December
-Resurrected it, doing most of the work himself
    -Installed a Spec 1 engine
-Delivered it to DMC Midwest for some finishing touches
-Drove it home to NYS (900 miles)
-Showed it at the car show in Clayton this weekend where I met with him and saw it....wow.

You guys should remember Jimmy, he joined the forums a few years ago when he began his DeLorean search (he had a really cool truck he posted pics of.) A few of you pricks were likely at Midwest's open house when he picked up his car....typical thuggish behavior if none of you met him there.

(PS. how 'bout one of you somebitches rotate the pics, please.)

Jimmy is a model builder and I mentioned Michael's awesome builds and that he sold a Millennium Falcon for 5K.

I overstated the price a bit, but here it is, Jimmy: http://dmctoday.com/showthread.php?9...ghlight=falcon

Thanks Jimmy, I have another Falcon to build but right now I'm running low on both time and energy to start it. Work has been relentless this year. I picked up a new account and they are so happy with me they "loan" me out to other lots.

The last thing I built was a childhood fav of mine, the Buck Rogers Starfighter:
