    WTB Various Parts

Probably a long shot, but does anybody have the following:

    Fuel Tank Closing Plate
    Front Grille and Emblem
    -Chad K.
    Previous owner of VINS: 6982, 1601, 1265, and 1269

Dammit, Jim. I'm an undertaker, not a mechanic.

Well, I've acquired a front grille and emblem. Staring at the gaping hole in the front end of the car was driving me nuts...

Nope and this car will not be back on the road until I can find one. If it comes down to it; nobody obeys the "Yield" signs here anyway...

Over 10 years ago I lost one from VIN 1662 while going over a pretty bumpy railroad crossing. Didn't know it had come off until parking the car a few hours later. It was the only obvious place it could have come off, but didn't see it there when I went back to look. Fast forward a few weeks to the local cruise night location on display and a guy tells me he found one on the roadside by the RR crossing. Had already gotten another one by then, so we just laughed it off and I told him to keep it, he said it had gotten a few bad scrapes on the rubber anyway. The clips that hold them on can get pretty wonky, when I put the used replacement one on, I also applied a light bead of some RTV silicone adhesive out of sight between the black rubber and the fascia and never had it come off on it's own again ;-)
