I can honestly say that this car has never had a Robertson manifold on it.

As soon as I get the engine unstuck, I'll be redoing the brakes and replacing the clutch master.

    The engine now turns freely.

On a related note: the engine bay is now coated with ATF, Marvel's Mystery Oil, and Acetone.

I'm sorry , I am lost. This car is a stick and your car from the tv show was an auto.

It was a transmission swap; as achieved by moving two thin pieces of aluminum and replacing 4 pop rivits.

Was the engine stuck from sitting and or being open to the elements? The engine that came with 5052 was seized from sitting without a W pipe and exhaust manifolds for 20 plus years. I poured a mixture of ATF and diesel fuel in the cylinders. After letting it sit for a couple days the engine freed up nicely.

It was free a few months ago; it got stuck as a result of having the intake off for a couple of months.

Now that everything turns free and easily, I'm going to try to get it to run today; after an oil change and topping off the fluids.

Do you have a manual frame?

I ask because I have a manual and got an auto frame to replace my junky old one.

Wanted to know any tips and tricks to making an auto frame function for a manual set up.

    Thank you for that.

I have been wrestling in my mind the best way to tackle this.

That seems to be a very simple and clever idea.
