3676's Looking A Little Different These Days

The new front end is looking better:

The interior has changed from what I remember; though:

I also think that there's something strange going on in the engine compartment:

    10/10

I like turning things into wall ornaments when I get a chance is why I asked But on a car is way better.

I nearly died of heat getting this free from a corvette in pickapart lafayette in the middle of summer. Rigged up a circuit so the lights oscillate on and off, at an adjustable rate. (I only cared because I have been driving an 80s corvette since highschool)

I save front ends. I still have a mostly complete front bumper from a '77 Trans Am back up in Wisconsin that I intend to wire up. I want to have a garage that's illuminated entirely by headlights someday.

Totally worth it. Easy too in the day of LEDs. Make sure to pot them so you can make it perfect

Chad, I have a Delorean front fascia that I am making into a wall light. Gotta fab a grill out of wood or something for it.

Honestly, I'd recommend making "looks the part" headlights with household bulbs behind them.

40W LED headlight draws just over 3 amps on a 12V system
60W incandescent household bulb draws 0.5 amps on a 120V system
9.5W LED household bulb draws 0.07 amps on a 120V system

Not to mention headlights are meant for distance lighting and you need fill lighting.

I thought you had the Robertson manifold you got from Bill at my house in July?
