Going forward, should a post(s) from a member need to be deleted, the admin deleting the post(s) MUST only do a soft delete of the offending post(s) and NOT physically remove such post(s).
The admin taking such action MUST also leave a note in the thread in which the post(s) were deleted from, giving a full explanation of the offense and why the deletion action was taken.
That way, if a member whose post(s) were deleted and/or was banned claims that they didn't post what they are being accused of posting, we'll have the proof of the violation that led to the deletion/banning in order to refute such a defense.
Failure by an admin to follow these policies will result in the immediate un-deletion of the deleted post(s) (if possible) and/or the immediate un-banning of the member at issue, as well as a formal apology from the forum being issued to said member.
An admin who fails to follow these policies will LOSE their admin capabilities.
These policies preserve the forum's fundamental principle of full public transparency in regards to administrative functions and will keep the administrators fair, honest, impartial, and equal / consistent.
This policy goes into effect IMMEDIATELY.
This policy does NOT pertain to spambots or duplicate posts (and for the record, content22207 aka Speaking The Truith aka Bill is NOT a spambot).
Thank you fellow administrators for your cooperation with this policy![]()
