    It's not too expensive. Farrar's little stunt cost me $172.

    It was $79 to retrieve the data from the day before.

    Automated daily backups are only $2 a month. I prepaid the $2 a month charge to match the amount of time until the hosting expires.

    I had a manual backup of the forum that I made myself but it wasn't as recent as the one I paid for. I'm just happy I could get my hands on the data. Now I've got to get off my lazy butt to do the restore.

    To be fair, I really should only be blaming him for thr $79.

    The rest of thr expense was me just prepaying the backup fees.

    Do you rent a server or just a host account? A lot of them have backup features built in. If it's a server, you can automate backups with a cron job if it's linux, or just a windows backup if it's Windows Server.

    We have a hosting account. Honestly the backup features are built in. But if you just call them up and want data it's between $79 and $150 for the restore.

    Or you can just pay a small monthly fee and have access to the backups yourself without any restore fees.

    Next week I'm taking a 2 hour road trip to perform a password recovery on a managed switch. Not at all that big of a deal; it'll be a nice easy mission, and will make someone's day.

    Just 'cause I'm over here living the thug life, doesn't mean my nerd card is voided, yo....lol!

    I only know the computer language basic. Like run flash print goto catalog, the old Apple 2e stuff, I still have my apple 2 c
