Single plane manifolds suck even if they are prettier. My car runs far better with Bill's hack job manifold. It might not be as pretty as a sand cast one but it runs better and was put together with love.
Rest assured, we have a backup of Farrar's car blog and it will be restored in the near future. (Steve Rice - March 2016)

I make no mention of being on topic or not, that is not of concern to me. Reality and honesty are, and sorry man....you just done have that.

Prove it. If you can't prove that your car runs better with a hack job manifold then your claim is false.

Strange, my car runs so much better with the Peugeot manifold than it ever did with Bill's fabricated manifold (even at idle) and other owners who have driven it say the same.
We have the same engine? Maybe it's the North vs. South air.

Bill, you don't happen to have a mirror in your house do you?

Another strange thing I'm still dealing with, which Bill says is still my alternator even though it's new now, is with the carb with the non stripped jet threads I get a bog or a lean right off the line and have to feather the gas, even when fully warmed up. But the carb with the stripped jet threads ran perfectly on the Peugeot manifold and could beat other cars off the line easily by hiring the pedal fast and hard. Bill continues to blame other systems on my car for that.

Beats me. I just know my car ran way too rich with the Peugeot. My car runs perfect with the hand made manifold.

Steve maybe it's Bill 's ear tune. Maybe there is a better way to tune the carb. My car ran way to rich with the fabbed manifold, it's much better now with the Peugeot, but still a bit fumey.

I won't doubt Bills mechanical knowledge because, not that I respect him, I do feel he has good mechanical knowledge.

I think it's that manifold. If I don't carefully tighten it down in an X-pattern, it doesn't seat and has a vacuum leak.

I'm running Lou's old manifold on my car and, without the extra thick gaskets, it would not seat and seal.
