Still planning on having some kits this fall?

    Bill,

Just wondering if you still plan to have some kits this fall? I have cash just sitting ready . Thanks. I know you don't charge for your time, so do you take bribes?

I am within striking distance of trying to find another aluminum welder.

Even the Peugeot manifolds I have on ice need adapter plates made (also machined by hand). And I need to make throttle cable brackets, which are surprisingly complex for the Peugeot conversions.

Even if the dual plane manifolds aren't ready by Christmas I should have some single plane conversions ready to go.

FWIW: I may be everybody's favorite punching bag at the moment, but there is helluva lot of artisan manufacturing in the community (some of which is being enjoyed by the punchers -- go figure...).

    My car runs.
Rest assured, we have a backup of Farrar's car blog and it will be restored in the near future. (Steve Rice - March 2016)
Rest assured, we have a backup of Shep's posts and all of them will be restored in the near future. (Steve Rice - March 2017)

Where are you located? I will be at the DMA Fall Fling next weekend if you'd like to see a carbureted DeLorean in action (assuming my Ford ignition survives the trip up there).

Dammit, Jim. I'm an undertaker, not a mechanic.

I'm in Kansas City. I have done a ton of ready about the carbs. I don't even want to try to mess with the k-jet. Every person that has your system it seems is extremely happy and I'm looking forward to getting my new you running. It's been sitting since 1990. One question, what is the difference between single and dual plane?

Disregard my question about the differences. I found your thread.
