    Mirror switch repair & parts

Another DMCToday member sent me his OEM mirror switches to repair. They can usually be cleaned up and fixed as long as no major parts are missing. If you are missing parts, I have many extras, so feel free to contact me if you need something.

In this pic shown here, you can see that these switches are being refreshed with brand new ball bearings and springs. The other parts have only been cleaned.

I can hardly wait to receive them.

Incidentally, if Matt can fix these he can fix ANY set of switches. These were submerged, along with the rest of the car, during Hurricane Sandy.

The switches arrived and they look excellent. Pushing the directional piece seems very promising.

I had him rebuild both of mine and I'm going to be travelling with a spare window switch mounted in the passenger's side door bolster because 3676 originally left the factory with two window switches installed.
