    Hey James. The metal fuel line right next to the tank is the main feed line. The metal line on the outside is the return line. I've attached a picture of the pump to show which is which. The wider fitting is the supply line and the narrower fitting is the return line.

    I have since found a better way to attach the rubber fuel hoses. These allow for a better connection and you can use the same size hose. DMCH uses the same type of fittings.

    I found the connectors on this fule filter assembly thing:

    I paid a dollar for it at a thrift store. It appeared to be new. It had the GM style quick connect fuel fittings. Decided to give it a try. I have since decoded the part numbers for the fittings. Here are the part links on RockAuto:
